What’s Up, Everyone?

So, as you know if you read my October Wrap Up, midterms had me down and out in the reading game in October. However, I never admitted defeat. Instead, I took out 10 library books at a time and renewed them as many times as possible. Why? Because I thought that I was going to read them. Which didn’t happen. So here is a list of all the books that I renewed and didn’t pick up (but am still interested in reading in the future):

Dress Codes for Small Towns by Courtney Stevens (BooksandLala won me over. It is her favorite book of the year and I will read it...eventually…)

Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor

Midnight at the Electric (This was around the time I started listening to Harry Potter and I chose to listen to that over listening to this. Whoops.)

War Cross by Marie Lu (I read the first chapter of this before returning it. I was excited and didn’t mind the writing style, but I don’t think I was in the mood for a Ready Player One type read.)

Flame in the Mist (Did I try to listen to this again? Yes. Did I decide I didn’t like listening to violence...again…? Yes. Midterms make people do crazy things).

There were some library books that I actually picked up, one of which was Wicked Like Wildfire by Lana Popovi. I was really enjoying this book for a while. I enjoyed the magic, the sisters and the general vibe of the story. I think it just got slow and I didn’t have enough motivation to push through. I do want to pick it up again though.

So, yep. One very uneventful month of not reading. Here’s to turning my reading game around in November!
