An Abundance of Katherines By John Green

Updated: Mar 14, 2020

Hello Everyone!

Summary:

An Abundance of Katherines is all about the Katherines. Our main character Colin has a specific type of girl that he dates, any girl named Katherine. He has a terrible (terribly funny) dating past and has come to the end of the road after the lastest Katherine dumps him. In an attempt to get him out of the dating world, and out of his bedroom, Colin's best friend, Hassan, plans a trip out to see the last remains of a dead Austro-Hungarian archduke. It turns in to a road trip of fun, whitty banter in the process Colin comes up with his grand theory, The Theorem of Underlying Katherine Predictability.

I loved Colin and Hassan. It was so nice to see that love didn't really ever prevail in this book, which is unlike any other John Green novel that he has produced. The storyline left something to be desired but it didn't mean that it wasn't fun. Coling totally reminds me of one of my family member to boot. One of my favorite scenes was the one with the woods and the hogs :)
